This Tasman Whisky limited-edition single malt whisky (ABV 47%) has been matured in a combination of Port cask (1st fill & 2nd fill) and rum barrels based on our connection to the wild and stormy Tasman Sea.
This expression was matured in these barrels anywhere from 4-6 years, before being carefully assembled to create what you see (and hopefully get the chance to taste)
According to Briggsy, Ironhouse’s founder, the best way to enjoy is neat, alongside a home cooked, sentimental meal. Basically, you should enjoy it with the ones you love – preferably around an open fire Bottled at 47% ABV and is strictly limited edition bottling.
Nose: Dark toffee notes, raisins covered in milk chocolate, cocoa dusted toasted pineapple and polished oak.
Palate: Dried dark fruits complimented by roasted coffee beans, ripe red currants, and a signature tropical fruit medley.
Finish: Long and creamy with fruity oily notes and delicious balanced oak.
